Follower tracker
Compare your Instagram followers and following list privately.
Choose your Instagram data export ZIP or JSON files. Aman processes them in this browser; your files are not uploaded.
Get your Instagram data
Follow this guide to download the official Instagram export for Aman. Instagram’s menus can look a little different depending on your app version.
Open Instagram Accounts Center ↗1. Open Accounts Center
Sign in to the Instagram account you want to check. Make sure you choose the correct account if you manage more than one.
2. Find the download option
Tap Your information and permissions → Export your information or Download your information → Create export. The exact wording may vary.
3. Choose your Instagram profile
Select the Instagram profile you want to check, then choose the option to export to your device if Instagram asks where to save the export.
4. Select only the needed information
Choose Some of your information (or the equivalent selection option), then select Followers and following. You do not need to download all your Instagram information.
5. Set the export options
Set the date range to All time if available, choose JSON as the format, and keep the media quality setting at its default if shown. JSON is recommended for Aman.
6. Create the export and download it
Submit the request. Instagram may take a while to prepare the export and may notify you when it is ready. Return to Accounts Center, open the pending/completed export, and tap Download. Instagram may ask you to confirm your password.
7. Import the downloaded file into Aman
On your phone, open Aman again and tap the file picker under Import Instagram export. You can select the downloaded .zip file directly. If ZIP import does not work on your browser, extract the ZIP in your phone’s Files app and select the JSON files inside the followers_and_following folder.
8. Check that both lists were read
Aman needs both your followers list and your following list. Select every followers_1.json, followers_2.json (if present), and any other numbered followers files, plus following.json. Then wait for the Followers and Following counts to appear before pressing Check Who Unfollow.
Which result do you want?
One current export can show Not following you back (accounts you follow that do not follow you). To find accounts that recently unfollowed you, you need a followers list from an earlier date and a newer followers list to compare. Two files from the same export are not a before-and-after comparison.
Privacy: Aman processes the selected files in your browser; it does not need your Instagram password and does not upload your export to an Aman server. Keep the downloaded ZIP private because it contains personal account information.
